Incoterms® are an internationally used set of terms of sale set and published by the International Chamber of Commerce. Use of Incoterms® can add precision and clarity to the responsibilities and liabilities associated with international shipments. Choice of the correct term can affect customs duty liability as well as determine which party to the transaction must pay duties and bear compliance responsibilities.
This program will explain each of the terms set forth by the ICC in detail and will work though real world examples and potential problem areas. The speakers will also be noting changes between the 2010 version of Incoterms® and the current 2020 version.
This webinar, the latest in the Import / Export Workshop Series of the ITCC and the CCBFA, is a must attend event for all importers, exporters, custom brokers, in-house lawyers and international trade professionals who need an understanding of Incoterms®, what they affect and how to use them properly.
