Now and when the war is over, the reconstruction of Ukraine will cost over $400 Billion (according to the World Bank). We confidently look forward to Ukraine’s prevailing in its struggle to preserve its freedom and territorial integrity.
Panelists will discuss the latest information on the war’s impact on Ukraine's construction and infrastructure as well as the role of the international community in the rebuilding of Ukraine. They will also provide a synopsis of current and anticipated needs and opportunities, immediate/on-going vs long-term reconstruction project priorities and Risks/Opportunities in doing public and private construction projects in Ukraine.
MEET OUR SPEAKERS
John Didiuk, Keynote Speaker, is a Director of International Finance at the U.S. International Development Corporation (DFC) where he has worked for the past 14 years. From 2014 to 2019, John served as the agency's point of contact on Ukraine where he coordinated interagency and external relations on Ukraine and helped to mobilize more than $1 billion in investment projects for the country.
Ron Given, ITCC Secretary and Event Moderator, has experienced 40+ years in the practice of law, first as a corporate and finance partner with the international law firm Mayer Brown, then as the General Counsel of a listed, global insurance group, followed by more than a decade of living in, practicing and successfully managing and growing law offices in Zagreb, Prague, Kyiv and Warsaw, as well as throughout Central Europe, for Vienna-based Wolf Theiss and Deloitte Legal.
Michal Rzeznik is a manager with over 13 years of work experience gained on American and Polish markets. Prior to joining the government sector, he served in the consulting and public accounting fields (mainly Big 4) as he managed numerous teams for large and medium clients.
Tomasz Stasiak, joining us from Poland, is a Managing Partner of Wolf Theiss in Poland and head of its Real Estate & Construction practice. He has represented major international investors and developers in a number of landmark projects in Poland, Ukraine, Hungary and Lithuania.
Thomas Lang is the Founder and Executive Director of Rebuilding Ukraine Association Inc. a 501(c)3 based out of North Tampa, Florida. Along with his team, they initiated the REUNITE program. Rebuilding Ukraine’s National Independence Through Education.
Arthur Tlustochowski, joining us from Poland, is CEO of Terra Casa SA and investor operating in the real estate market for more than 20 years. He concentrates on high standard sustainable developments in Warsaw and Cracow. His development and investment projects vary from creating added value mixed use and high-quality residential projects to single family housing, mid-size shopping centers and hotel projects.
