ITCC’S August Networking Event

Summers in Chicago are the best, especially when we can get together on a beautiful outdoor patio and indulge in great conversations while sharing drinks and appetizers.

For that reason, ITCC would like to invite our members and friends to come out after work and have some fun networking with other internationally minded professionals.

The newest member of our Board of Directors, Dr. Andreas Eckstein, will formally introduce himself and invite attendees to celebrate the developing accomplishments of international trade and friendship between the US and Germany on September 13th at Hannover Messe US courtesy of the German Federal State of Niedersachsen. This exclusive trade show will be held at McCormick Place and will be followed by a “German Night Reception” hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest.

Pati Flannery, from the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, will provide information on the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s $3 million employee training grant program that provides 50% reimbursement to Illinois based companies to upskill employees. This grant is managed by the Chicagoland Chamber on behalf of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) investment in workforce development.

Other special announcements regarding upcoming collaboration and business opportunities will be given by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Governors State University. Appearing on behalf of the renowned organizations is Winchell Cheung and Reggie Greenwood, respectively. 

Winchell is Director, Midwest of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Reggie is Executive Director at the Supply Chain Innovation Center and Business Incubator at Governors State University.
