Stakes are higher now than ever for importers of goods which may be subject to outstanding antidumping and countervailing duty orders. The Enforce and Protect Act of 2015 provides for the private filing of allegations of evasion by competitors and other parties. Emily Simon, who was instrumental in drafting the implementing regulations for the Act will join us from the Office of Trade (Regulations and Rulings) at CBP Headquarters to discuss the workings of the procedures and regulations. David Forgue will discuss the implications for importers and those wishing to file evasion allegations.
