Previously announced:

We have invited Dr. Kaufman, an Associate Professor at Illinois State University where he teaches courses in international marketing, marketing management, and product development at the undergraduate and MBA levels.  Recently, he has also been active in developing new interdisciplinary curriculum in the areas of analytics and separately sustainability and business.

The focus of this presentation is how companies can collaborate with institutions of higher education to both develop student capabilities to conduct international market research in an in-market hands-on fashion, and help themselves to learn more about a target overseas market.  Companies can also use this collaboration with higher education to screen for potential future employees that have the mind-set and drive to succeed.

Dr. Kaufman holds degrees in marketing and international business from Babson College, University of Florida, Tufts, and the University of South Carolina.  His research has been published in some of the most prestigious academic journals and his teaching has been recognized for its innovative approach at the college, university, and national levels. Prior to joining academe, Dr. Kaufman worked for Nabisco Biscuit Company and DuPont.

The International Trade Club of Chicago (ITCC) is a not-for-profit organization and all proceeds are used solely to cover the costs of ITCC activities. The ITCC appreciates the efforts of the volunteer speakers.
